Brinkley will speak about his latest published work\, American Moonshot:  John F. Kennedy and the Great Space Race.  He will also speak briefly about his book currently in the process of being written:  Silent Spring Rev­o­lu­tion: Rachel Car­son. \nBrinkley is the prolific bestselling author of a number of presidential biographies and other historical books and winner of awards such as the Sperber Prize for Best Book in Journalism\, Washington Post Notable Book of the Year\, Robert F. Kennedy Book Award\, and the Grammy Award.
